How do I get a Lovable website appearing in ChatGPT?

Last checked 31 Aug 2026

Short answer

There's no way to pay or submit for guaranteed inclusion — publish on a real domain with clear, factual, well-structured content, and let AI crawlers index it the same way search engines do.

AI tools don't work like a directory

ChatGPT, Perplexity and similar tools surface web content either via their own crawlers/index or by browsing live during a chat. You can't submit your site directly for inclusion — you make it more likely to be found and cited by the same fundamentals as SEO plus a few AI-specific habits.

What actually helps

  • Publish to a real custom domain. Preview *.lovable.app URLs are less likely to be crawled or trusted as a citable source.
  • Write clear, specific, factual content. AI answer engines quote pages that state things plainly — exact facts, numbers, named services — rather than vague marketing copy.
  • Structure content as direct answers. Use headings phrased as questions with concise answers underneath, which is exactly what gets lifted into AI-generated answers.
  • Add structured data (Organization, FAQ schema) so crawlers can parse who you are and what you offer.
  • Don't block crawlers. Check robots.txt isn't disallowing AI user agents (e.g. GPTBot, PerplexityBot) if you want to be included; block them deliberately if you don't.

Add FAQ schema and Organization schema to the homepage, and confirm robots.txt isn't blocking GPTBot or PerplexityBot.

Use Lovable's built-in review

Lovable's SEO and AI search feature is designed to flag exactly this kind of AI-discoverability issue in one pass, rather than you auditing manually.

What usually goes wrong

  • Expecting fast or guaranteed results — there's no submission process, only improved odds over time.
  • Blocking all crawlers by accident with an overly strict robots.txt left from a private/staging phase.
  • Writing content aimed purely at persuading humans (long hero copy, no facts) rather than content an AI system can extract and cite confidently.

llms.txt

Some sites also add an llms.txt file to help AI systems understand site structure — see the next question for whether that's worth doing for your project.
