How do I view my database data?

Short answer
Open the Cloud tab (or ask Lovable) to browse tables, edit rows and run SQL directly inside your project — no separate Supabase login needed.
Where your data lives
Every Lovable project using Lovable Cloud includes a managed Postgres database. You don't need a separate Supabase account to see what's in it.
Viewing data in Lovable Cloud
- Open your project and go to the Cloud tab (sometimes labelled Backend).
- Choose Database to browse tables, view and edit individual rows, and inspect columns.
- Use the built-in SQL runner for anything a table view can't show, such as joins or aggregates.
- Review security policies (RLS) from the same screen to see who can read or write each table.
You can also just ask in chat:
Show me the contents of the
orderstable, sorted by created_at descending
Lovable will query it for you and summarise the result.
If you connected your own Supabase project
If you connected your own Supabase project instead of using Lovable Cloud, view data in the Supabase dashboard's Table Editor, since that project is under your own account, not Lovable's.
What usually goes wrong
- "I don't see a Cloud tab" — your project may not have Lovable Cloud enabled yet. Ask Lovable to "add a database" and it will provision one.
- Table exists but looks empty — check you're looking at the right environment; some projects separate test and live data.
- You can see the table but rows are missing — this is usually RLS filtering what a client-side call can see, not a UI bug. That's expected: the same policies apply if you query from the app.
