How do I fix inconsistent fonts?

Short answer
Tell Lovable exactly which two fonts to use for headings and body text, add it to Project knowledge, and ask it to sweep the whole app and replace any font that doesn't match.
Where the inconsistency comes from
Each new page or component Lovable generates can default back to the base font stack if you haven't set a firm rule. Over several prompts, you can end up with two or three fonts mixed across pages, or bold weights used inconsistently for the same heading level.
Set the rule explicitly
Use [Font A] for all headings (h1-h4) and [Font B] for body text and buttons, site-wide. Remove any other fonts currently in use. Confirm the font is loaded via Google Fonts or a local file, not a fallback.
Naming actual font names (e.g. "Manrope for headings, Inter for body") gets a far more reliable result than "make the fonts consistent". If you don't have fonts picked, ask Lovable to suggest two that pair well for your type of site (SaaS, e-commerce, portfolio) and show you an example.
Lock it in
Add the font choice to Project knowledge so every new section built afterwards inherits it automatically instead of drifting.
Sweep for leftovers
Search the whole codebase for any font-family declarations that aren't [Font A] or [Font B] and replace them.
This catches fonts hardcoded in a specific component (common with pasted sections or third-party embeds like a chatbot widget) that a page-level instruction misses.
What usually goes wrong
- Font-weight inconsistency (some headings bold, some semi-bold) looks like a font mismatch even when it's the same typeface — check weights too.
- Custom fonts not loading properly at all (falling back to a system font) can look like "wrong font" when it's actually a loading issue — ask Lovable to confirm the font file/link is present.
- Third-party embeds (payment widgets, chat widgets) bring their own fonts and usually can't be restyled — that's expected, not a bug.
