How do I check for console errors?

Short answer
Open your browser's developer console on every key page of the published site and look for red error messages — then ask Lovable to fix each one by name.
How to check
- Open the published site (not just local preview) in Chrome or Firefox.
- Open Developer Tools (
F12, or right-click → Inspect) and go to the Console tab. - Reload the page and click through the main flows — forms, navigation, any interactive feature — while watching the console.
- Note any red errors (warnings in yellow are usually lower priority, but worth a glance too).
- Repeat on a couple of different pages, not just the homepage — errors often only appear on specific routes (e.g. a page that calls an API that isn't configured yet).
Fixing what you find
Copy the exact error text back to Lovable rather than paraphrasing:
The browser console shows this error on the [page name] page: "[paste exact error]". Find the cause and fix it.
Exact error text and the page it happens on give Lovable much more to work with than "something's broken".
What usually goes wrong
- Errors that only appear on the published site, not local Preview, because of environment differences (missing env var, different domain, CORS).
- 404s for missing assets (a favicon, a font, an image) that don't break functionality but still count as errors worth cleaning up.
- Failed network requests to an API that expects a server-side secret which hasn't been configured yet — these show up as console/network errors, not visible UI bugs.
- Only checking the console once, early in development, and never again after later feature changes.
